At school I think we should be given classes that really help us in real life. On television I heard Tupac talking about the classes they give us in school and what he said is what made me stop and think. He said that we need to be taught real sex education.


I know I'm tired of always hearing the same thing. In every sex education class I have taken I have heard the same thing over and over, I have seen the same pictures over and over. Every teacher says "Ok kids this is the vagina and this is the penis," like we don't already know that. For goodness sakes we have one. I think we should have teen moms/dads come in and talk to us about being a teen parent. We should have people that had/have an STD come in and talk to us. I think we need to hear the REAL thing from REAL people in order to say "Hey this is no joke."

Tupac also said we should have a drug class.

I think we should be taught about drugs that are being used the most by students in our school. Many kids in school are using MDMA (exstacy) but they don't know the real effects of it. All they know is it puts holes in the brain. They should know ALL effects. What's in it? Commonly found to be in it is speed, LSD, ketamine, aspirin, atropine a prescription drug, 4-MTA which is a synthetic stimulant, etc. What does it do to you not only physically but mentally? After using MDMA reporters have noticed a range in emotions, including anxiety, restlessness, irritability, and sadness that can be as severe as true clinical depression. In 1994 there was 1 reported case of deaths involving MDMA. In 2001 there were more than 100 deaths involving MDMA. We shouldn't only learn about MDMA we should learn about marijuana. Most kids think marijuana is a drug that doesn't harm you, but does it? Marijuana can produce anxiety, fear, distrust or panic. It can also affect parts of the brain that influence pleasure, memory, thought, sensory and time. In 2001 there were 110,512 emergency room visits that had to do with marijuana.

Instead of teaching us about real life stuff there teaching us art, softball, volleyball, bowling, etc. How does knowing how to hit a ball over a net help us in real life?

Our required classes for graduation should be English, math, science, history, sex education, and drug/alcohol classes. Then if there's people who wish to take art they can join art club and if there's people who wish to join a sport they can join the school team.
