There are many things that could make the world a better place, but if everyone was just to get along and treat others with respect you could have alot less of promblems. I know that some times when others don't show you respect by saying a rude comment or something you don't particular like them doing, It's hard to show respect to people who are disrespectful to you, like when your boss gets mad at you for something you did but are not respectful when they do it's hard to keep your cool and not disrespect back.
In other words its great knowing that your friends respect you and your decisions, but there can be those few friends who will not respect your decision and get and angry because you're not doing what they want you to do, I have had friends who would want me to ditch a class with them and I would say no and they would not respect what I wanted to do and they would bring up the sentence I guess you're not a good friend or would come with me, friends like that are not good they are not the people you would consider being your best friend knowing they don't always show you respect unless you're doing what they want you to do.
Showing respect is a good social skill and every should be comfortable showing it and knowing you'll get it back in return that's what I believe could make the world a better place.
