What ticks me the most is when people judge by your appearance? People judge you based on your appearance, because it's human nature. Everyone does that, even the ones who don't like when their getting judge too. It is an evolutionary trait, which makes all humans judge based on your appearance. People often tend to do this because they are most likely to be unwise, or they don't know better. We've all heard the saying" Don't judge a book by its cover"! Unfortunately, we do, it's not nice, but we do it anyways. Although most people won't admit it, we're all a little insecure, which leads us to look at people who's clothes are not fashion, or if their hair is all funky. Not because people want to be mean, but because it grabs our attention, to look at something that it's not the same. Some can disagree with what I'm saying, and can either think that people who judge because they are shallow and superficial. These people have different traits and are, more concern about a person's appearance than their inside feelings. This people may only be concern with your appearance which comes to the big question, that's most of us wonder. Would our true friends stick for us for lifetime, or are they just with us because of our appearance, what would happen if I get into a car accident and completely changes my life?


What judging others can teach us about our self's?

By judging others you can learn so much from you.

It's essentially a game of look and judge, look and judge, look and judge.

Sometimes i tend to judge at people without even noticing that my comments can actually harm that other person.

But when I pass a judgment, I feel something inside me die its like a connection is that can be so severed. Each judgment we make is a three-sided wall between us and the other person, us and ourselves and us and the truth.

When we judge others, we highlight our own insecurities, fears and feelings of insufficiency we actually don't feel confident about ourselves. When we judge, we create distance from our Self's by creating distance between "me" and "you". When we judge, we act in rebelliously against the universe and against the moment. Not to mention, our judgments are often inaccurate and actually warp into reality around whatever perspectives we choose to hold.

It's human nature to label and categorize the world. It helps us make sense of things.

Whether you have been wearing the same old black tee for weeks or rock'n your brand new Members Only jacket. Enjoy punk music or country music, like Vans or Nike's, we all have been judged by someone. But why judge? Why label someone without knowing them? Sometimes when I walk down the hallways of Thornton High I notice little groups, separated, not really noticing each other. Sometimes not allowing other people in. I'm not the friendliest person myself, talking to any random individual. I'd probably be a pretty good example of a guy who doesn't care about other people. But this isn't about how people should stop judging each other. It's simply a question asking, why? Maybe if we come up with a question an answer will follow.

Maybe we don't interact with other groups because they don't dress the same as us. I mean I'm wearing my New Religion jeans and my Armani shirt and she's wearing a big ass ICP clown and some red Dickies. I wear my fitted Guess belt and she wears a long string looking belt hanging down the side of her leg. Why do our differences over power our similarities? Because we both like family guy, yell just as loud when the Broncos score a touchdown, smile when a kid is getting in trouble. Why can't we see our similarities but we can see our differences?

Maybe it's because we don't like the same music. While my CD's bump Fabolous, Plies, Jeezy, and everything in between, hers are filled with crazy rock bands I've never heard of. I judge hers saying it's a bunch of offbeat noise and loud screaming, she judges mine saying all rappers rap about the same thing. But if we got to talking, we would find out we both think Atmosphere is a crazy sick rapper and I even like a couple of her Godsmack songs. But we never will have that talk and therefore never will know. So we just keep judging and thinking we have nothing in common.

People don't take the time to investigate. They just take what they see and judge on that. Maybe we have been doing it for so long it's too late to turn back. Or maybe we just don't realize it and when we do, we will make changes. But probably not.

People who judge, really tick me off. No matter what you're judging a person on it's pathetic! Do you like to be judged? I don't think so! I've been judged and believe I have a good self esteem, but people don't have the right to try to bring me down.


I'm bisexual, gay, whatever you want to call it and people judge me because of it. In middle school I would get made fun of how I walked or how I talked. When I got into a confrontation with this kid about how I was gay, I was going to beat the shit out of him when an undercover cop pulled up. I ended up getting a ticket because I was sticking up for who I am and myself. I'm not saying I didn't deserve the ticket for trying to fight or whatever but it's just the fact of being judged.

When immature kids would judge me it would get to me and I wouldn't be confident or want to be out about being bisexual. But today, I'm glad through everything I've been judged on or talked about it has only influenced me too be stronger and more confident person today and forever, even if I'm being judged!!

Why do people think it's so cool to be a total dumbass? When I say dumbass, I mean multiple things. One is fake people that try and act cool by acting stupid. Everyone has talked to, over heard, or just ran into a person like that. It makes me wonder what these people's deals are. Do they do it only for attention? Or are they just born that way? No one will ever know.

I see way to many people, way too many times doing stupid things to try and be cool. One day after hanging out with my friends at the movies we started walking around. When we started walking over a bridge, we looked over and saw three idiots running back and forth on the high way. I looked to me like they were laughing about it and glaring around to see if anyone was watching them. One of these guys ran across the street and almost got pummeled by an oncoming van. I guess its cool now to play real life frogger.

Not everybody likes to just grab people's attention by risking their lives. Some people try to impress people by yelling shit out of a moving vehicle or just talking shit to someone and end up not doing anything when that person gets in their face. I remember seeing this short fat kid talking made shit to everyone all the time. Out of nowhere he started to pick a fight with one of the tallest n beefiest guys in class. All I recall him say was, "just like this tall fagot right here". The dude got up faced the crap talker and threw him out of his seat. That event still didn't stop this kid from talking crap.

I personally think people should just stop with the bs and quit trying to impress everyone. I think it would help also if other people will try to stop judging other people by the way they look because that just fuels the way people strive for people to notice them. Also, people have to stop thinking they need everyone to like them. Not everyone is going to like you that you come by.
